History of The Clock Tavern Tony and Maura McGing bought the pub (previously called O'Malley's) back in early 1976 and the pub underwent a transformation into a Tudor tavern. The Clock Tavern first opened it's doors on 6th Aug 1976 and the restaurant opened a couple of years later. The bar and restaurant have undergone several transformations over the years to make the space as comfortable and welcoming as possible. In the front bar alone there are 20 tons of oak beams salvaged from a overhaul to the Forth railway bridge over the Firth of Forth in the east of Scotland. |
